Went visiting some old work mates to discuss the fiberglass trim cut on the tips. Suggestions included rotary cutoff blades used for tile or grit edged blade on a jig saw. Went shopping around. Couldn't find any 3" tile blades for my pneumatic cutoff tool, and only found some carbide 30 grit jig saw blades. Will give that a try. I plan to leave about 1/16 excess and finish to fit with a file and sandpaper. Yellow tape in image 1 is the position of the tip rib flange, so need to cut off at the bottom of that.
